Can Dysport cause numbness and twitching in your cheek and droopy eyelids? (Photos)

monday 12/11 I saw a dermatologist for dysport, now 4 days later my left side of my face is not only numb but my cheek twitches and my eye lids are so heavy and droopy! she didn't use a nerve blocker. She frantically pricked my face all over Dr also told me the downside to not having forehead wrinkles is droopy eye lids? I cannot even put on mascara she gave me dysport in my chin and now my chin looks chunky and uneven! I have had botox for 6 years and this has never happened! :(

Thanks for your question. I suggest you contact your injector and be examined. Your pressures may not be related to Dysport, but only an appropriate examination and diagnosis can determine the next step. You may have the flu. Best wishes.

I appreciate your question. An injection of Dysport involving 20 units is very small. I’m surprised to see you’ve had a drop in the eyebrows. Injections in the forehead can be effective to reduce forehead wrinkles, but the injections should be done away from the brows.Best wishes. Dr. Aldo

I see your heavier eyebrows after Dysport. This suggest you should have your eyelids trimmed with surgery. Relaxing the only muscle that pulls the brows up is known to cause this to happen. Get a facial surgery consultation for your eyelids.Good luck. Dr. ALDO
