Minor gynecomastia surgery recovery for wrestling?

hello, the question i am asking is how can i speed up my Minor gynocomastia surgery recovery time period. I am going to be the wrestling captain of my high school next year and I really hate the thought of sitting out for 6 weeks in the offseason while everyone else is working hard. I want to set a good example for my teammates by working as hard as i can for as long as I can. Im willing to take freezing ice baths, to getting massages, and physical therapy.

Usually 1 week after #gynecomastia surgery you can begin taking moderate walks
or ride a stationary bike. Strenuous workouts or aerobic #exercise can begin
around 4 weeks post-op. Please get approval from your doctor before you begin
any workout regimen.

Thank you for your question and I can understand your reluctance to want and sit out.  Unfortunately little replaces time as the key factor in healing and your surgeon will offer you the best advice based on the strenuous activities that you are looking to return to.  In general patients should refrain from all activity for 2 weeks as this may increase your risk of bleeding during recovery while regaining the range of motion of your arms and chest often take a few more weeks before lifting exercises can be performed.   Listen to your surgeon, they want to help you recover as quickly as possible but your safety should always come first.  Hang in there.

First let me start with the idea that there is no such thing as minor surgery. All board-certified plastic surgeon's treat this seriously. I have had patients do a vigorous workout even a month later and develop bleeding problems. This must be allowed to heal properly. There are many other exercises you can do during that time but you should avoid vigorous just maneuvers. Sorry to disappoint you.
