I had a breast augmentation five years ago. I had (still have) tuberous breasts. The surgeon placed 360 cc implants under the muscle with the incision under, he told me he had to create some space on the lower part of my breast due to tuberous breast. I haven't had any problems with them, but now I started to feel like first of all; they are small for my frame, I'm 5'7; Also, I feel like they are not placed correctly. I would appreciate some feedback.

Answer: Breast augmentation results To make an assessment regarding the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we generally need to see a complete sense of proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before and after pictures, then ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took. Your breath I slightly divergent, and this is Exaggerated when you get implant augmentation. Your implants look like they are placed correctly for each breast but your breast center slightly wide, and as mentioned earlier seem to be slightly divergent. This cannot be corrected with implants. The results of a plastic surgery procedure are based on the patient’s candidacy for the procedure which varies from person to person and the skill of the provider. It looks to me like your surgeon did a fine job but perhaps should’ve discussed what your results would look like in greater detail, especially that you have slight divergence. Follow up with your provider or schedule in person second opinion consultations. For a second opinion, consultations always provide a complete set up before and after pictures and preferably a copy of your operative report. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
