I have had consultation with two different plastic surgeons and was told that even after earlobe reconstruction (congenital microtia), the ear would be smaller than my other ear The said doctor has an available appointment for the surgery so that I can get it done before the school starts but he hasn’t done such a procedure before in practice. I was looking for another opinion but the plastic surgeon who has more experience doesn’t have available appointments for consultation.

Answer: I'm not aware of a technique to make a small ear larger.
The distortion of the ear comes from skin closure tension and that is what is exposing more of the canal. It is called a smeared ear. You will need a scar revision.
