How long can negative effects of Dysport last and can they be permanent or lead to other problems?

Question

I had 90 units total dysport injected in lower and upper forehead. 2 months ago. I had severe swelling under eyes and eyelids 8 days post injection that also resulted in extreme pressure in head,ears and behind eyes then lasted over a month. Now 2 months post injection. I still have a good amount of bad days. Although some days I feel completely normal. Most days I have extreme pressure and bulging feeling behind eyes and tingling in face as if I'm hanging upside down. Very scared.

Your symptoms after Dysport injections are atypical and unusual. It's best to consult your physician for an evaluation and to eliminate other unrelated conditions that may be coincidental.

I'm sorry to hear of the issues you are having since your Dysport treatment.  The effects of the product are temporary.  Dysport results will fade gradually typically over three to four months.  The symptoms you describe are not common and should be evaluated by your injector.

The complaints you mention and the timing are not consistent with Dysport or Botox therapy. I would see and ENT for an evaluation to make sure there isn't something else going on causing these symptoms
