I had a TT and BA w/o Saline March 10. My PS choses not to do lipo at the same time due to fluid loss. How long should I wait to see what remains to have lipo. FYI my daughter is to be wed 7/11 and I want to be able to be pulled together then. The areas I belive I'd like to have lipo is thighs inner and outer, love handles and back. Your thoughts. Thank you!

Answer: Liposuction with a tummy tuck These operations can often be handled safely at one surgery. Your surgeon may have had a particular reason to break them up. Unless there is some special circumstance, I would consider taking my patient back to the operating room after about six weeks, when they could be positioned comfortably on the operating table

Answer: How long after Tummy Tuck should one wait for Lipo? Dear EKPmomIt was wise on your and your surgeons part to decide to be as safe as possible by breaking up multiple procedures. I think in the ideal world, you would wait around 3 months (or longer) to go back and do the second stage of your procedure. Considering the wedding is so soon, at 6 weeks from your first procedure, you can go back and have the liposuction areas that you want done safely. I often prefer to do the liposuction areas first and then go back for the tummy tuck and additional procedures. Both ways work well. Keep in mind that these are just general opinions and your surgeon and you should discuss the timing and decide what is the best timing in your case. Congratulations on your daughters wedding! (and your new body!)
