I only have my patients wear these 24/7 for the first 7-10 days then they do spanx.  The swelling goes down faster with them but doesnt change the ultimate outcome.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Most patients with conventional liposuction complain of soreness but not significant pain. The thermal damage great about the use of a laser or ultrasound can occasionally create a significant postoperative pain syndrome.

I typically have patients wait 3-6 months at least before having a second procedure, as the swelling takes a while to go down and to see skin tightening.  I would suggest exercising and considering Venus Legacy or Velashape treatments to help speed the healing, decrease more fat, and skin...

The bruising in the picture is exceptional but not totally out of the question. The good news about bruising is that it has very little effect on the final outcome. Only time will correct the problem.
