How long should I wait to have a second round of lipo on the same area? (Photo)

Im not sure if Im getting the right information form your question. so the procedures were performed by an out of country doctor? and you want more Lipo done by a US doctor? please know that most of the doctors who perform Liposuction are pretty aware of the patient's needs. its a matter of finding the right one which is not hard to find and having an open line of communication with them

I typically have patients wait 3-6 months at least before having a second procedure, as the swelling takes a while to go down and to see skin tightening.  I would suggest exercising and considering Venus Legacy or Velashape treatments to help speed the healing, decrease more fat, and skin tighten the area.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Any areas that were not treated earlier can be dealt with whenever it is convenient for you. Any areas that was previously treated and would benefit from a revision probably should be left alone for at least six months.

It  will take  9 months to a year to see the final  results of whatever liposuction has already been performed. You should  expect a progressive improvement in contours, skin texture  and sensation over this time period. After you have established a new baseline, addition liposuction can be performed  in the areas that were not treated and possibly in the initially treated areas. The exact timing  and expected benefit should  be discussed with your plastic surgeon.

Everyone heals at a different pace, but in general, you should wait at least 4-6 months prior to another procedure on the same area. Although the incisions on the outside are healed, the fat on the inside takes months to soften. One would want to have the area soft and supple prior to liposuction. of course, if it is done on a separate area, it can be done within a few days depending on the patient's health.

I think that if you have liposuction on other areas, you can have it done pretty quickly in most cases. As long as you are healing well from your previous procedure.  Best to discuss with your surgeon.

Additional lip can be done but the risks of abdominal skin ripples is VERY high. Plus out of country surgery leaves you without options. You get what you paid for I guess. I also might recommend layered BBL... Fees $8,000+++
