Stomach is wrinkly after each pregnancy - what procedures would I need for this? (photos)

Hi there, your concerns are very common after pregnancy. A tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, addresses this well, it's the BEST operation we have for excess skin of the tummy, which you have from pregnancy. It includes removal of the panniculus. A panniculectomy on its own is not recommended for you.

The classic treatment for an abdomen with fullness, laxity of the muscles and also loose wrinkly skin both above and below the umbilicus is a classic abdominoplasty. Liposuction alone can yield unwanted contour irregularities if one has pre-existing wrinkling on the skin and poor skintone. A mini abdominoplasty mostly improves the lower abdomen and does not address skin laxity above the umbilicus. Plastic surgeons vary in what they consider an abdominoplasty. In my practice this also includes liposuction extending around to the back. Some practices consider the liposuction an add-on. It is important to know all portions of the procedure that your plastic surgeon is offering should you consider this.

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Although an in-person examination would provide much more detail it is possible that your bulge may improve once you lose the 15 lbs you want to lose. Otherwise, you might have some muscle separation and loose skin that can be treated with a tummy tuck. Once you have lost the weight and if you are still bothered by your belly area, I recommend you consult with a plastic surgeon who specializes in body contouring surgery and can adequately evaluate you and develop a treatment plan for you.
