I had a drainless TT in late 2019 with otherwise great results. About four months after, when swelling diminished, I noticed a lump had formed in my upper abdomen. It is fatty/squishy and doesn’t hurt. I am thin and know this wasn’t there pre-TT. I pushed my recovery a little by lifting my toddler more than I should have. Could I have caused what the internet seems to think looks like an epigastric hernia?

It is not unusual to see contour irregularities resulting from sutures shortly after an abdominoplasty or revision of abdominoplasty scar. The appearance can also be aggravated by the localized swelling one expects in the first several weeks around the incision. Most likely, dissolvable stitches...
Thanks for your photos and questions. There can be residual swelling for up to a year.
I would suggest an Ultrasound to ensure there isn't seroma contributing to the swelling. If that's negative you could try lymphatic massage. That can often improve difficult swelling.
