I think the before and after images may be reversed. If you don’t like the morphed image let the surgeon kniw what you don’t like about it

This is DEFINITELY discussion to have with your surgeon before surgery. Maybe he has the same critiques about it that you do. Wouldn't that be reassuring? This is the benefit of computer imaging. It's a good way to establish expectations. We perform computer imaging on front view and profile views only. I believe these two views are the most important for establishing goals. Your concern is completely understandable. It’s important to understand that the main goal of morphed images are to help you and your surgeon align on the outcome you’re looking for. It’s less a promise than a target or goal for your surgeon to work towards. I’d recommend reaching out to your surgeon with your concerns to ensure you’re both on the same page.

How reliable is your imaging? imaging is only as reliable as the surgeon who is doing it. Imaging can create the perfect nose every time, but it’s not necessarily the result you will get in the operating room. I do not recommend relying on imaging of any kind for rhinoplasty.

It's very important that you have a very Frank conversation with your surgeon about these results. Computer imaging it's only a communication tool, not a guarantee of results. Rhinoplasty is the most difficult procedure to perform correctly in the entire field of cosmetic surgery, so it's imperative to choose your rhinoplasty specialist based on extensive experience. Study your prospective Surgeon's before and after photo Gallery which are the real and permanent results.

I’m not a big fan of using computer simulation. The computer can accomplish changes that may not be easy to accomplish using surgery. It may serve as a guide for communication and understanding what is an ideal outcome. Patients should not use computer generated images as something that is going to be consistent with what can be delivered.
If you have concern about the simulated pictures, then I suggest you contact your provider and discuss what you don’t like about the proposed outcome. It’s important that you’re on the same page in terms of what they are trying to achieve for you.
The time to be critical of plastic surgeons is before you have the operation.
Finding the right plastic surgeon can be difficult and many patients in reality don’t do a very good job of vetting plastic surgeons.
To find the right provider, I generally recommend patients schedule multiple in person, consultations with providers in their community.
During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of previous patients had similar characteristics to your own.
An experience provider should have no difficulty Showing you the before and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients.
Being shown a handful of pre-selected images, representing only the best results of a provider career may be insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider, what your results will look like or how many of these procedures they’ve done in the past.
Take careful notes during each consultation, especially regarding the quantity and quality of before and after pictures. Reviews may or may not be helpful or be indicative of the competence of a provider.
Providers who don’t self promote or request reviews typically don’t have very many reviews. Those who have an abundance of reviews are usually Working hard at promoting their practice.
Self promotion and surgical skill have little to do with each other.
Some of the most talented plastic surgeons, I’ve known have very little Internet presence, very few reviews.
Being famous and being talented are too very different things in this field of work.
In your case I think communicating your concern with your provider before your operation is in order.
