I'm 5'7 and 115lb. I carry most of my weight in my lower body. My inner/outer thighs are my main concern. When I work out/lose weight I become frail on top but hold my weight in my lower body. So I'm thinking to get breast fat transfer to even out my proportions, not necessarily a bigger bust but a fuller one then skinny legs. The other photos I attached are the type of figure I want. Would breast fat transfer achieve this on me? If not, which procedure would I benefit from?
Answer: Breast fat transfer and body proportions Breast fat transfer is a great procedure for the right person. The ideal patient is someone that matches many of the following (not everyone will match every item): 1. Have some fat that can be liposuctioned. 2. Have some place to put the fat. Keep in mind that not all the fat that is transferred will survive. You can essentially double the size of the breast at the time of surgery. However, a portion will not become healthy viable fat. So the results at a week are not indicative of the final result. Around 3 months is a pretty good facsimile. If excess fat is injected, it increases the chances of fat necrosis. 3. Having a nice shape to the breast, and using fat to fill that out, works best. 4. Having realistic expectations about the outcome. For someone wanting a really large change, an implant is a better option. 5. Having an area of fat you do not like and would prefer to see made smaller (ie lateral thighs, medial thighs, love handles, belly are most common). This can help with overall proportions. 6. An aversion to implants. 7. A desire for a really natural looking result. Choose a surgeon that does this regularly as there are techniques that will increase fat graft survival. Answer: Fat transfer? Indeed, liposuction of the inner and outer thighs will help you meet your expectations. The fat can be transferred to the breast to help with volume and shape. I think this is an excellent way to proceed. Thank you.

Answer: I want a more proportionate figure. Which procedure would you recommend? Hello @bambi100, thank you for your question. A consultation is vital to establishing a surgical plan that meets your needs, meets your expectations. However, If you’re looking to achieve a more proportionate figure, liposculture with fat transfer is on solution that may help. This procedure involves using your own fat cells taken from fat pockets in the body, and transferred to the breasts for fuller and firmer volume. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS. Answer: Fat transfer for body/breast contouring Based on these photos. there are few areas where fat transfer would help, but you have limited amount of that. In case like yours, breast should be treated with small implant augmentation while buttocks, hips would benefit of fat transfer. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with expertise in fat grafting and body contouring, is recommended. Good luck.

Answer: Fat transfer Dear bambi100, fat transfer breast augmentation is a viable alternative for women who desire larger breasts without the use of implants. Fat transfer is also widely used in reconstruction of the breast after a mastectomy or lumpectomy. It can also be very effective in correcting the size and shape of the breasts due to genetic problems such as tuberous breast or Poland Syndrome, two conditions that look like misshapen or underdeveloped breasts. In addition, the following scenarios are also reason to consider breast fat grafting:• If you have chest areas that appear creased and sunken• If you desire more permanent correction than is provided by temporary fillers• If you wish to improve your body contour, revise scars, fill bodily depressions and rejuvenate the natural curve of your breasts• To fill in contour irregularities or hide obvious signs of breast implantsYou should discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon and make sure your surgeon understands your concerns and your breast augmentation goals. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
