19 months ago, I got a 360Lipo with Renuvion. I had some loose skin with stretch marks on my abs. My stomach skin never fully contracted and I noticed some big holes in my lower abdomen. Did the surgeon over-removed fat or is post-liposuction fibrosis? Would an ultrasound exam help me find out what it is? Can I treat it with ultrasound and RF or do I need correction surgery?
Answer: Mini tummy tuck and possible umbilicoplasty You do have contour deformities, most of which are low. You may benefit from a mini tummy tuck and perhaps an umbilicoplasty. Best Wishes. Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: This is why you should avoid Renuvion and General anesthesia lipo. Lipo under gen. anesthesia doesn't allow the doc to fine tune the results like he/she can do under local with the patient being able to be stood up and see what needs to be done. Also renuvion can give very irregular and distorted results. Micro lipo under local with a little iv sedation and bodytite/morpheus is the way to go when you want quality results.

Answer: Too much skin You needed it then, and you need it now: a tummy tuck. Your surgeon recognized that but instead used a 'skin tightening' device instead. Either incompetence or dishonesty on their part. This unfortunate issue for you illustrates a very important point: skin tightening devices are not a replacement for skin removing surgeries. Get your tummy tuck and go to a provider that is honest and knowledgeable.

Answer: Addressing Post-Liposuction Concerns Hello Lass876987698, Thank you for reaching out about your concerns regarding the outcome of your liposuction procedure. I understand how frustrating it must be to experience issues with loose skin and irregularities in your abdomen. Based on the photos you've provided, it appears that the issues you're facing may be a combination of post-liposuction fibrosis (scar tissue) and potentially the removal of too much fat during the procedure. Liposuction aims to contour the body by removing excess fat, but in some cases, excessive fat removal can lead to irregularities and contour deformities. It's essential to consider that you may not have been the ideal candidate for liposuction alone, especially if you had loose skin on your abdomen. In such cases, procedures like a mini tummy tuck or a full tummy tuck may have been more appropriate to address both excess fat and loose skin. I recommend you contact your plastic surgeon to evaluate your condition in person and recommend the most appropriate course of action for you. I wish you the best. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen

Answer: Liposuction You do have some excess skin and a few areas from aggressive liposuction. You would benefit from a tummy tuck to remove the excess skin and tighten your abdomen. Fat transfers could be done or Sculptra injections if needed. If you do not mind the loose skin, then try fat transfers or Sculptra injections.
