7 months ago I had a lower body lift and mons pubis lipo. Ever since then, my mons pubis is so much darker than the rest of my body. It’s not getting better. I asked my surgeon about it, and he said it can take a year to clear up, but I’m not seeing it get better or that not much can happen. What can I do about this? I feel awful and look like a Halloween character.

Answer: Plastic surgery outcomes To make an accurate assessment regarding the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we generally need to see a complete set of proper before and after pictures. I’m guessing you’re a skin has a slightly different pigmentation or color in your groin area, and this more pigmented groin skin gradually fades to a lighter color on your mid abdomen. Normally the transition is fairly gradual but when the skin in the middle is removed, the gradual color change is removed With two contrasting skin colors at the incision line. I don’t think this is a time issue, but was predictable and could be confirmed by seeing pictures before the procedure which probably does show slightly different skin complexions in your private areas compared to your mid abdomen.
