It all depends on your anatomy, but botox can be used to widen the area around your eyeball by relaxing the muscles around the eye. Your physician has to analyze your anatomy and determine which strategical areas to treat with Botox.
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
Botox is a type of drug that can relax the muscles in your face and smooth out wrinkles. It can be used to give you larger eyes by reducing the appearance of under-eye bags and wrinkles. This is sometimes called "jelly roll Botox" because it targets the muscle that bulges under your eye when you squint. Botox under the eyes can be subtle or dramatic, depending on how much Botox is injected and how it affects your facial muscles. Some people may see a noticeable difference in their eye size and shape, while others may only notice a slight improvement in their under-eye area. The results may also vary depending on your age, skin type, and lifestyle factors.I hope this information was helpful to you.
It can be challenging to find individualized Botox treatment. Most injectors are really only comfortable doing pan forehead treatment (11 line v-treatment, crowfeet areas, and some type of forehead pattern). They are simply no equipped, skilled, or experience to perform individualized treatment that is requires to address upper eyelid ptosis, for example. Pan-forehead treatment is not particularly effective at raising the forehead. For that consider treatments like my Microdroplet Lift® treatment that produces a forehead lift effect without forehead freeze.
Hi, thank you for your question! The areas that you can place botox to help widen the eyes is crows feet, between the eye brows, and below the eye brow. The dosing for these areas will make a subtle change to help widen the eyes. I would recommend having a consultation with a certified injector.
Botulinum toxins (e.g. Botox, Dysport) can be used to increase the appearance of the eyes, sometimes through the brow lift injection at the end of the eyebrow, or even the Crow's feet injections can make the eyes seem a bit bigger and certainly more youthful.
Botox can be used to soften dynamic muscle movement between the brows and on the forehead. It can also be used to give a conservative brow lift as well as correct the crow's feet area. Though this does not directly make the eyes larger, it does give the eyes a refreshed, rested look. See an experienced injector to learn more.
Botox will not widen eyes but can raise brows and lessen crow's feet so might make eyes appear to be more attractive. Upneeq can open your eyelids up and if you have low hanging lids it will make your eyes look bigger, sometimes significantly larger.
With the correct placement, botox can give you the appearance of larger eyes. It is not a FDA approved indication, and should only be performed by an experienced expert injector.
Hi yes your eyes can look larger but the expression of lifting the eye brows, depends on your face anatomy, and if you are comfortable with it.
Although Botox resistance is possible, I doubt that this is a reason for the lack of effect in the forehead area. The fact that you had a 3 year hiatus and that the Botox was effective in other areas of the face argue against resistance as a potential cause. A more likely explanation would...
Yes - we regularly perform Botox in the masseters to slim the face and then Sculptra along the lower jaw line for a snatched jaw. Based on your photos - I would not recommend Botox for the masseters as it will reduce the width of your face which will not help in creating a snatched jaw line. You...
