Question

I had an extra large chin implant. I feel like it’s too big and it makes my face looks masculine. It’s been one week since I had it, should I remove it?

Thank you for your question and sharing of photographs. In general, the decision about chin implant is benefiting from preoperative 3D imaging and simulation to help you decide on the size of the implant. Nonetheless, in the early stages after surgery, there is always a significant amount of swelling of the chin that makes it both look more projected and wider. 
There is also some swelling further laterally in the jaw region, and the overall net effect is that the chin has become dominant. 
The most sensible thing to do is to allow the swelling to come down for at least a couple of months before you make a proper assessment. 
The actual final appearance will take at least six months to stabilize, but by two months a lot of the swelling in the jaw region will have settled.

In the first weeks after a chin implant and surgery, swelling is common. These swellings usually begin to subside after about a month, and the true appearance of your chin will become more apparent. What you’re seeing now might be partially due to this swelling. To make an informed decision, I would need to physically examine you. It wouldn’t be appropriate to recommend any action without seeing and evaluating your condition.

Your concern is completely understandable. The size of your chin does not look large. Since it is swollen during the first recovery period, it is natural for it to look large to your eyes. If you wait patiently for a few more weeks, I think you will get the result you want.

A large chin implant can be masculinizing. However, one week later you'll still be getting used to things, have swelling, and need time for it to settle.  Wait three months and reevaluate.  IT can easily be resized.

You should have in mind that one week after implant augmentation your chin and lower face are still significantly swollen. Waiting four to six weeks may give you a chance to see a more realistic result and eventually accept your new look. Removing or replacing the implant with smaller one can be done any time after that period in local anesthesia. Good luck.

Based on your post of photos, it does appear to be a two large implant to be used on your face. But you’re only one week postop so only usually takes a minimum of four weeks to eight weeks to subside so I recommend you waiting at at least six weeks before making a decision.
