I've had breast implants for 13 yrs, now need to remove them, as one is broken. I don't want new ones but am unsure weather to remove them or also have a lift at the same time. I had 1 pregnancy 3 yrs ago and it's changed my breasts a lot, it was the pregnancy that's ruined them not the breastfeeding. I want to have 2nd kid. Will a 2nd pregnancy change the breast again at all since all the milk ducts are already developed? When should I have the lift-I prefer to only have 1 surgery
Answer: Have 2nd child before breast lift. With pregnancy there is engorgement of the breast secondary to milk duct development, but there is also some increase in the breast size due to weight gain. All of these contribute to the breasts settling and becoming photic. . As it happened with your first pregnancy, it is likely to happen with your second pregnancy and therefore my recommendation would be to have your second child and then consider having a breast lift done at that point so that your results hold up better.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding can cause further changes to your breast shape, and you want to ensure the results from your breast lift are long-lasting. If you breastfeed, it is important to then wait at least 6 months until you have completed breastfeeding. Additionally, if you plan on removing your implants, it’s wise to wait until after the second pregnancy to avoid needing multiple surgeries.
