I'm 47, bf 2 children. I wear 30DD (look smaller, but I need the small back, and smaller cup sizes don't fit). Nipples widely spaced. They only began to droop in the last 5 years, before that my breasts were very high, I didn't like them as they were still small but looked fake. I like a little sagging, I think its attractive. But, like the snoopy/waterfall sagging looks very unnatural so I don't want that. I want larger, natural looking 47 yo boobs. Will i need a lift?
Answer: Breast lift vs augmentation or both Thank you for posting your question here! My answer is based on the limited pictures and information provided , for a more detailed and bespoke plan please consult with your plastic surgeon. It is hard to tell from the pictures if you need a lift , the main factor in determining that is usually based on the relationship between your nipples and your IMF (inframammary fold), which is hard to tell on pictures. That being said a breast lift will move the nipples , so if nipple lateralization is a major issue for you then it might help with that. That being said I am guessing based on your pictures that your issue is more of a volume issue, which an implant can help with. You can always undergo a lift later if you are not pleased with your outcome with an implant alone. Just do not go for massive implants that do not fit your frame in order to forgo a lift as this will only cause you to have issues in the future. Pick a size that will complement your figure. I hope this helps, best of luck!

Answer: Breast lift Dear Sensible2407, determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs. Answer: Implants will work for you Hi, according to your pictures, we can surely say that you don’t have actual ptozis, you have glandular ptozis which can be treated by implants perfectly. The scar will place underneath your breast and won’t be visible from the front.

Answer: Breast lift? While you have some mild ptosis of the breast, I would not push for a breast lift. With the s scars and minimal benefit, a mastopexy will be a long run for a short slide with an unfavourable risk/benefit ratio. Thank you.

Answer: Natural result If you are okay with some sagging you may be able to have just an augmentation alone. This will provide more upper pole fullness but can still be very natural looking. If you want the nipple position raised then a lift could be included as well. The best place to begin is a visit to a board certified plastic surgeon for a consultation.
