I’m 24 years old and I’m getting a BBL in a months time. I have been doing 1 hour on the stairmaster 7 days a week prior to surgery and I am wondering if I continue this after surgery, will I lose my BBL results?
Answer: Ans: 24, after BBL will I lose my results by going on the StairMaster and doing cardio? Hi! Thank you for your question. After a BBL, intense cardio like the StairMaster can lead to fat loss, which may reduce the volume in your buttocks. For the first 6-8 weeks, it’s best to avoid high-impact cardio to give the transferred fat cells the best chance to "take" and survive. Instead, focus on light walking to promote circulation. Once cleared by your surgeon, you can gradually reintroduce exercise, but incorporating strength training for the glutes may help maintain and even enhance your results. Always follow your surgeon’s specific recovery guidelines for optimal results.

Answer: Postoperative protocol Dear meganbbl2022, I understand your concern. It is best that you consult your plastic surgeon regarding post operative care and management (i.e including massage techniques and timing) specific to your case. Your surgeon knows your condition well and has preferences on when and what to use for faster healing and recovery. Post operative care and management depends on the type of surgery performed and the technique used during surgery among other factors. It is best, however, that you follow your plastic surgeon's advice on post operative care management for a smooth and faster healing and recovery. Answer: A cardio program ensures outcomes after BBL Hello! It's awesome that you are working on your health before surgery! And it will only help outcomes after surgery! BBL adds fat to the buttocks between the skin and the muscle, typically fat taken from the back. In the past fat was added to the buttock muscle but this is no longer standard practice because of risks found to be associated with that technique. By using the stairmaster you are building up your gluteal muscles so you should see even better projection and tone in the buttocks after surgery. Weight loss programs associated with dramatic weight loss could reduced fullness in the buttocks. Best of luck to you!

Answer: Exercise After A BBL Thanks for your question. Weight loss, weight gain and exercise do affect BBL results. The fat transferred to your buttocks is affected in the same manner as when you normally lose weight or gain weight or exercise. Hope this helps.
