My stats: 5'3, 128lbs, B cup pre op My implants: Silicone HP 425cc, under the muscle on both sides This is two weeks post op. They are still very high and I don't feel like they've changed much since surgery as far as position concerns. They look long instead of being round and are high near my arm pits area. Should I be worried about them not dropping?
Answer: Implants sitting high after breast augmentation I would definitely not worry after 2 weeks. I routinely see it takes 3 to 4 months for the breasts to settle and soften after breast augmentation. There is no harm, however, in asking your PS about it at your next visit.

Answer: My implants are still very high.... My concern is with the choice of implant size, with what appears to be a short inferior pole or nipple to inframammary crease distance. Certainly preoperative photos would help. Preoperatively, if the distance from your nipple to your inframammary crease was short, or restricted, a more conservative size implant would be more appropriate for a more natural appearing result. When this space is short or restricted, there is less room for a large implant on the bottom part of the breast below the nipple, hence, much of the implant rides high above the nipple areolar complex. In the case of a restricted inferior pole, one also has to be careful not simply make the pocket too low just to make a larger implant fit, as a "double-bubble" deformity may likely occur. Personally, I don't see the implants having enough room to settle into favorable position, however, I'm simply looking at one photo. Perhaps a superior stap... perhaps lowering the implants if they dont heal into position. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon.

Answer: Implants high Thanks for the question and photos. It is very early in your recovery and too soon to be "worried". You are petite and had relatively large implants placed. It may take several weeks for them to fall in place. I recommend close follow up with your surgeon. Good luck!

Answer: Should I be worried? At two weeks post op I wouldn't be "worried". Did your surgeon show you exercises to help move your implants down? If so, are you doing the exercises at least ten times a day for a 10 count each time? You are going to have a nice result however you need to start working on getting those implants to move down into the breast pocket. Definitely get into see your surgeon and go over your concerns with he or she. All the best to you.
