Top South Florida surgeon for transconjunctival blepharoplasty?

Transconjunctival blepharoplasties are performed by plastic surgeons, head and neck surgeons, as well as oculoplastics surgeons.  Find a surgeon you like that is certified by a board of medical specialties for the specialties listed above and you should be in good hands.  

There are many surgeons in the area who perform lower lid transconjunctival blephs.  There are not many of us who do fat repositioning, so if you have a deep tear trough may be a good candidate for that procedure.  You should go to a few websites and look at the before and after photos.  Then make some consultations with those whose pictures you like.  You will certainly get a variety of different opinions and will then need to decide who you want to work with.    

The major question is whether or not you this type of procedure is right for you.  This decision needs to be made by the Surgeon that you see.  This is a fairly routine procedure performed by most Facial Plastic Surgeons, Occuloplastic Surgeons, and Plastic Surgeons.  There is no "Jedi Master" of transconjunctival blepharoplasty.

A transconjuctival bleph is very appealing because there is no incision on the outside of the lower eyelid. Usually this procedure is good in young patients that do not have much excess lower eyelid skin. If you have a tear trough deformity, fat transposition would help out with this. Sometimes it is challenging to perform adequate correction of this tear trough deformity via a transconjuctival Bleph without putting too much stress on the eyelid which could lead to ectropion or everted eyelid after your surgery. There are many well trained plastic surgeons in Miami but only a handful with special Oculoplastic training.
