I had rhinoplasty 11 days ago with osteotomies and i'm wondering if it is possible to have swelling between my eyes. My bridge is not as narrow as i want, is it common to have swelling in this part of the nose after a rhinoplasty ?
Answer: Swelling Dorsal reduction can extend all the way up to the radix of the nose or root of the nose between the eyes and this area can become swollen from elevating the skin and periosteum off the nose. At least 2 months are needed to see the likely end result. You will know when it has resolved as you will have normal sensation and the skin will be soft and supple.

Answer: Rhinopalsty and swelling Yes! Swelling is the norm and your bridge will look wide until the swelling subsides. This can take several months and up to a year and sometimes longer to subside.

Answer: Is swelling between the eyes and on nasal bridge possible? ONLY 11 days since surgery!!!! Allow 3 months at least before commenting on issues about the glabellar area of the nose. Did not your chosen operative surgeon explain the time following a rhinoplasty that the swelling all take to resolve? Best to see him/her for full in person postop healing discussion.
