It is not likely that your small bump will resolve since it has been 6 months since your injury.  There is no harm it waiting another 3 to 6 months to see if there is any improvement.  Depending on how much this bothers you, you may need a very minor rasping to improve the dorsal contour.  Your result overall is very nice so the cost may outweigh the benefit of another procedure.

It is difficult to say what the bump might be but it may be scar tissue from the injury.  The bump itself seems relatively small and hard to notice, although this may not be true to you.  Especially since it is small, I would recommend waiting 6 more months.  At that point, if it is still there and bothering you, consider seeing a facial plastic surgeon for treatment options. 

Hi Natalie1563,It's hard to know whether this bump is a fragment of bone/cartilage, or harness of a scar due to soft tissue trauma. Certainly from the picture it is hard to see. Since it is small, I think that there is little downside to waiting at least 6-9 months. If it still bothers you, then see someone who is experienced in rhinoplasty. Needle subcision could also be tried as well as a low risk attempt at reducing a small bump there.Good luck,Michael M. Kim, MD

I advise waiting a full year post-injury and if there remains a visible or palpable bump you can consider having a revision to smooth the area.

If the bump does not resolve after another 4-6 months you will need a revision to eliminate this. If the irregularity can only be felt, not seen, consider avoiding any treatment.
