usually you want to wait anywhere between 4-6 weeks before any return to full activity. I personally like to wait 6 weeks before I let my patients go back to their normal routine. That being said, in your particular case, there are also a lot of variables. What was done during the nose reconstruction? How extensive was the surgery? Do you use full face helmet or open? any covered visor? Motorcycle with a high windscreen or none? Group riding or solo? From a fellow motorcycle rider to another, full protection is always best. At least knowing you are in NY I know you are not in a "no helmet" state, so thats good! Honestly though, it is always best to check with your operating surgeon in regards to when he would like you to return to full activity and whether or not there are any restrictions. He knows what was done during the procedure and what potential pitfalls are around the corner. Best of luck and ride safe.
I think this is dependent upon what was done and you need to speak with your surgeon about what might be best for you. Good luck.
