Will me being super nervous cause surgeon to cancel my surgery? When I’m nervous my bp spikes up. Is there anything I can do?

As long as you don't have poorly controlled hypertension, you should be fine. If you are concerned, I suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeons as most of us have some recommendations which might help you keep your nerves under control.

Being nervous before surgery is normal feeling and everybody has it. However, there are people that become overwhelmed with nervousness that may cancel surgery in the last moment. In order to cope with it, you should discussed that particular issue with your surgeon and primary care physician; a group of medications called analytics may be used before and short time after surgery to help keep this situation under control.
