I don't know why but I have these shadows below both corners of my mouth. I've already been to a cosmetic physician recently but they've told me nothing can be done about it because if they'd inject fillers in the shadow area then my chin would look really large. Is there really nothing that can be done about it?

I think a combination of fillers into the depressed areas and possibly some Botox (depending on muscle animation and function in the area) might offer you a nice solution. Answer: Shadows around the mouth Filling in the hollow areas can be done with filler and also building up your chin a little to make a more even profile will give a smoother appearance to your lower face. You will see the results immediately and just need to touchup from time to time.

Answer: Improving shadows around mouth Filler injection using a hyaluronic acid-based filler would be my recommendation. This is non-invasive and provides immediate correction. I would likely inject this area using a cannula rather than a sharp needle to minimize the risk for bruising or other problems. See an experienced injector.Regards,Dr. Ort

Answer: Treating lower face volume loss with filler I think filler treatment to the chin and prejowl hollows should give you a nice correction. Please see an experienced injector for an in person consultation.
