I'm scared my nose surgery will be botched?

The best way to calm your nerves is to find the doctor that you trust. Your gut feeling about the MD is the most important part of the process. If you choose an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon, the probability of having a "botched " rhinoplasty is extremely low.  It is important that you understand that even under the best circumstances, the results of a rhinoplasty are never flawless. Good luck!

 Rhinoplasty is a difficult endeavor, so is very important to choose your rhinoplasty specialist based on extensive experience with the procedure. The dorsal hump can be shaved down and the bridge and tip refined.  Look for a surgeon who has dedicated a significant component of their practice to the discipline of rhinoplasty, performs  them  very often on a weekly basis, has an extensive portfolio before and after patients in their rhinoplasty photo gallery.

Make sure that you do thorough research before
selecting your board certified plastic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon as
your provider. Take a look at the practice’s website, before/after
pictures, speaking with other patients regarding their experience with
that surgeon and how they like their outcomes. Knowledge is power!

See a different board certified surgeon that perform rhinoplasty. See their results and the one you feel comfortable with should be your surgeon. You will be linked together for a year of followup4) consider the importance of maintaining a nose that breathes well. A nose should look great, but also needs to be able to function!5) specialization in rhinoplasty. This is one of the most challenging operations in all of plastic surgery, since it is a change of millimeters, not inches.There is no special trick about staying calm.
