Runny nose is not one of the side effects after Botox injections. You may be experiencing some sort of infection, allergies, or flu and cold symptoms. If your runny nose is not going away, then I would advise you to contact your physician. Good luck!
Although some people get flu like symptoms after botox (approx 1 in 10,000) I dont believe this includes runny nose.
Botox is not injected below the muscles, therefore it cannot effect the nasal mucosa behavior (a vasomotor process). It is most likely a result of a new onset infection or allergies. It is likely a coincidence the two happened so close in time. If your runny nose does not improve with time or treatment, you will need to see your doctor. Good luck!
Hello, and thanks for your question. I don't think your symptoms are related to Botox. If you are still concerned, I suggest following up with your physician. Best of luck, Dr. Frucht.
I don't think the Botox caused the runny nose, but you can take any over the counter medication without any problem
Many times we have allergies or other symptoms that coincidentally occur at the time or near the time of a treatment. Several over the counter medicines can help with this. Oral antihistamines alone of some of the nasal sprays can help.
There is no relationship between taking an antihistamine such as Benadryl for a cold after Botox. Please feel better! Best, Dr. Green

I will recommend you to check the web site for the Mexican Society of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery. There are many plastic surgeons who do perform Botox injections. I will suggest you to contact Dr. Pedro Arturo Valdez Gomez, Dr. Alfonso Gonzalez Cepeda, Dr. Luz del Carmen ...
Thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear your results are not what you were expecting. This can happen if the Botox was injected to low around the crow’s feet area and can lead to issues with the lymphatic drainage around the eyes. This will resolve in 3-6 months when the Botox wears o...

Thank you for your question. Yes, you can lower your eyebrows with Botox. This can be done with placing Botox in the forehead. Doing this relaxes the frontalis muscle. This is the muscle responsible for lifting your brows. Be careful as placing too much Botox can lead to a droopy brow. I...
