I know I want to get an eye brow lift, I am very interested in a Botox jaw slimming effect, my under eye situation needs to be fix (however I'm unsure if I was born with deeper set eyes or if its getting worst with aging). Questions for you is how much Botox in my jaw should I start with and will I need & same Q for the eye brow lift. What other fillers should I consider for what I think is sagging? Is that sagging by my Marie Antoinette Lines? Also interested in spacing out my features. Help!
Answer: Botox For Eyebrows; Fillers For Under Eyes; Volumizers For Cheeks & Upper Lip Frankly, from the photos provided, it does not appear that your lower face needs any slimming at all. In fact, if anything, the lower face appears to need some additional volume in the mid cheek and perhaps in the posterior jaw regions to offset the marked inverted triangularity of the face seen in the photos. Proper facial volume reflation can help to create a more oval face. Very likely, by virtue of this, the early marionette lines would secondarily be improved, without any need to address them directly. Microdroplets of Botox injected in the tails of the eyebrows can provide a pleasing lift and restoration of the desirable upward and outward flare of the outer third of the eyebrows. Another couple of microdroplets would soften the early crow's feet seen upon smiling. Additionally, the incipient under eye bags and dark circles can be easily improved with a filler. My preference for this purpose in my Upper East Side Manhattan office would be Belotero Balance, since this filler possesses little tendency to give rise to the unwanted, bluish Tyndall Effect when injected superficially into the delicate infraorbital tissues. (Teoesyal Redensity II would be my choice in my Israel satellite facility, where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved fillers are available.) Finally, a small amount of Juvederm Ultra Plus (NY) or Princess Volume (Israel) injected in the upper lip would help to achieve a more ideal proportionality between the lips (ideally, the upper lip in front view should be about one-third of the total volume of both lips together). Since there is no substitute for an in-person evaluation, you would do well to schedule an appt with a board certified aesthetic physician to discuss all these issues. Best of luck to you and congratulations upon making the decision to finally go forward.

Answer: Botox? EmilyAlexandra. Physical exam would be helpful. For starters, not sure Botox for your jaw will provide effect you desire, and your jaw appears fairly slim already. 10-15 units of Botox usually are required to gently raise your lateral brow regions. Fillers may be an option for your lower lid regions. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist. Good Luck!

Answer: Botox and fillers Hello and thank you for your question. The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. You should have a nice result with botox in the areas you mention if good technique is used. You may want to consider juvederm and/or voluma for fillers to add volume. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

Answer: How much Botox do I start with? Treatment of your face needs to be individualized for you. You need to consult with an injector who will examine your face, ask you to express and assess your needs. The amount of Botox required depends somewhat on the strength of your muscles and the desired result. Some patients want to retain movement. Others want to have no movement. You need to have a Consultation. You are young to be starting on this path and care must be taken to keep you looking natural and not overdone.

Answer: Botox You would not need any slimming done on your face, and we only slim the jaw line. The amount of Botox is going to depend on your consultation. And seeings this would be your first time having Botox you should start will very little. It is easy to increase if you wanted or expected a different outcome. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, David Ikudayisi, M.D.
