I've always had thin lips which bothered me, after my first child I decided to have lip injections and haven't looked back. I had it done at amara clinic in Dublin. The doctor really wants to achieve a natural look and he succeeds, it looks so good. I've had it done elsewhere since and wasn't happy, It looked obvious (in a bad way) that I'd had it done. I went back to dr Paul at amara clinic and will continue to do so from now on. I would highly recommend him.
I was really exited to get a lip filler for my 21 and I did. I did not find good results online or answers to my questions and i was a bit nervous as I chose a clinic that I am not sure if their work. Any way it was Amara clinic in dublin 2 mount st. Dr. Paul was dr. in charged. He had a talk with me before the injection and he made sure i understand what is Juvedurm, what look i am looking forward to having, and the right measurements..etc. I really wanted to get 2 ml but it was 852$ and i couldnt afford that so i went for 1 ml. I am totally satisfied as i can see a difference on my look when my friends haven't noticed that I have got lip filler ,as it looks very natural. I did not feel any pain during injections and i did not get any bruise whatsoever.
What can I say only that I love Botox! I am a 24 year old girl... I know very young for Botox but I had slight lines in my forehead that used to really annoy me, others say they could not see them but I could!!!! This was even worse when I wore make-up as it used to just sit into the lines and no amount of primer would sort it out.... I used to have to keep topping up with powder to cover them and always used to wear my hair to cover my lines. I got Botox on the 2nd Feb this year and it only took few minutes and it was all over, I am afraid of needles but it was only a tiny little pinch. I could start to feel the difference a few hours later and a week later I was amazed. After two weeks one of the lines is completely gone and the other two are so faint I don't even notice them. Wearing make-up is now a dream and I also need to put powder on once at the start of the night :) I cant wait for next week where I am going back for a little top up as he did not want to use too much Botox the first time as it was my first time - plus the top up is freeUpdated on 4 Mar 2012:hey everyone.... just a quick update... had my top up on Thursday.... only took a few seconds and was all done... can see the difference already! Give it a week and I will be a smooth as a babies bottom :) went out over the weekend and only one coat of powder.... Botox is my new best friend :)
Consider a combination of 4 treatments for this area. Keep using Botox underneath the eyes and make sure that you are not using too much at the side of the eyes and causing rebound increase in traction by the muscles under the eyes. A skin booster like Sunekos can improve texture and color underneath the eyes. Your picture doesn’t show a lot of volume loss but it’s not the best picture so I can’t be sure that you wouldn’t benefit from a small bit of a thin filler under eye filler like for example, Juvéderm, Volbella. Finally, most medical skin care ranges include an under eye cream with a small amount of retinol.
I used disport for many years and switched to Botox about 10 years ago. I did not notice any difference whatsoever apart from the packaging, the amount of water it’s mixed with under the units. One other thing I noticed is people have been more trusting of the Botox brand and because it’s made in Ireland where I practice I’m a little biased so chose it despite the higher cost to my practice.
All fillers attract water and cause swelling. I’m not familiar with the filler that you are describing, but I understand that it’s more difficult to make short chain fillers, like Vycross from juvederm. Filler does last longer than one year, particularly in areas that don’t move very much. Swelling happens regularly with normal life activities, for example, if you sleep on your front or side, you will typically experience swelling of the face in the morning because of gravity, pulling the fluid downward. Many of my patients have reported fillers being particularly swollen in the mornings during pregnancy, another time of increased swelling. Hope this helps.
This line looks like something that would be improved by some strong lifting techniques. If placing both fingers on the corners of your jaw and pulling back gets rid of this line, then this is the case. The ways to do this would be with a surgical lift or a non-surgical option like thread lifting or facial filler lift. There are some great techniques using Vycross Juvéderm fillers that are not as good as surgery but can give enough lift to get rid of a line like this. I think you would be talking about 4 to 6 mls with a good injector. To know if Botox would be helpful stick out your bottom lip like a sad baby and notice if the corners of your mouth pull down more on that side. If they do, then Botox might help.
Hi Clemie, Yes Nasolabial folds can be helped with Hyaluronic Acid fillers. I use Juvederm fillers which blend seamlessly with the skin and also contain an anaesthetic. This is best discussed with a consultation first but treatment can of course be given on the same appointment. Kind Regards, Dr Paul
