How to get rid of this hump on my nose?(Photo)

Question

I have a hump in my nose as you can see from the pictures which makes my face look ugly.I have a oval face which worsen the condition.I don't have enough money to pay for the rhinoplasty so is there any other method to get rid of it or atleast make it smaller.Thanks for your help.

You seem to have a classic dorsal hump with requires either rhinoplasty to reduce the hump. Occasionally, the hump can be disguised by injecting filler at the radix. This can be done yearly but is not a permanent solution.

Yes, surgery is the only option for a complete removal of the hump and narrowing of the nasal bones, but.....you can camouflage the hump with fillers like Restylane. The good news is that it takes very little filler to achieve the results (and therefore is very affordable). The bad news is that it would have to be repeated in a year, or so. Also, it is a technically challenging procedure, so make sure if you decide to do this, you carefully research your injector's credentials.

Dorsal humps are treated with rasping and osteotomies to break the bones and narrow the bridge again.  It can be done with either open or closed techniques.

Thank you for your question.  By looking at the photographs you provided, you have a dorsal hump and more width to your nose that could be reduced.i would also consider spreader grafts to give you a more aesthetic brow-nasal lines.

The dorsal hump is composed of both bone and cartilage which must be shaved down surgically in order to remove it. Osteotomies are then required of the nasal bones to narrow the bridge line after the hump removal. A rhinoplasty is really the only way tot reduce the bump. Some might consider camouflage with filler although this is temporary.
