I am need rhinoplasty revision and eye and brow lift. Do I look for surgeon that specialize in rhinoplasty or eye lifts ? Any suggestions? Also does just brow lift enough for me to lift upper lids or I need upper and lower lids done together? I am 45.
Answer: My advice You don't need brow lift at all, your eyebrows are correctly located at the orbital rim edge, moreover if you do a brow lift you'll have a "surprise" expression, I'd disregard this option. You are good case for upper lid blepharoplasty, to remove spare skin, and transconjunctival lower lid fat bags removal.Revision rhinoplasty can be incompatible with lower eyelid surgery in case you need re-fracturing of the nose. You'll have much difficulty to find a good revision rhinoplasty surgeon than eyelid surgeons.

Answer: Rhinoplasty, Eyelid lift You can undergo the procedure together safely. From your photos it seems that instead of a brow lift an upper and lower lid blepharoplasty would be adequate. The lower lids would benefit from judicious removal of some herniated periorbital fat. Your pictures did not show the full nose but it appears you have some asymmetry. A board certified plastic surgeon should be able to meet your needs. Best wishes!

Answer: Rhinoplasty Your brow height looks good - even pretty high- in the pictures. You have a little extra skin on the upper eyelids which could be removed. Revision rhino is a tough procedure, and you want to make sure you find a facial plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic noses. That surgeon should be able to take some skin off from the upper lids at the same time.

Answer: Revision rhinoplasty and brow lift It would definitely be possible to have a revision rhinoplasty and and brow lift with blepharoplasty done at the same time. Most facial plastic surgeons or plastic surgeons would be able to perform all of those procedures. There may be some surgeons who perform more revision rhinoplasties, so depending on what needs to be done to your nose, you may want to seek out a specialist. In regards to which procedures would be best for you, the best advice you could get would be after having an examination in person. It is possible that an upper eyelid procedure would be enough for you without the brow lift. Again, an exam would be needed to give you a definitive answer.

Answer: Revision rhinoplasty and facial balancing I would strongly recommend avoiding a brow lift. You would be much better served by volumetric balancing with fat grafting with or without four-lid blepharoplasty and brow pexy. your lateral brow could be pexied ( lateral hood lift) for long term support but a true brow lift would not yield an aesthetically sound outcome in you. Any of these options can be done at the same time your nose is revised. I almost always perform facial balancing with fat when I perform rhinoplasty. I strongly recommend finding a skilled surgeon that can help you achieve balance with an appropriately designed rhinoplasty in concert with fat grafting and possibly blepharoplasty. I hope this helps! All the best,Rian A. Maercks M.D.
