How long should I wait to get a tummy tuck after a c-section?

It's best to wait until you have fully healed from delivery and your muscle tone has returned before having a tummy tuck. If you are lucky, this may happen in 3 months, but for most women it takes 6-12 months. It it is a strenuous surgery, and you won't be able to lift anything over 10 or 15 pounds for 6-8 weeks after the procedure, so keep that in mind too since you may have to arrange for help around the house or for your children while you recover. good luck! 

Hi. Give your skin a chance to recuperate from the pregnancy. The skin will continue to get a bit tighter on its own. Rule of thumb at our institute is 6-10 months. Good luck
