How long should I wait to get a tummy tuck after a c-section?

I would recommend waiting about 6 months after you stop breast feeding if you are doing so. If you are not breast feeding, you can have a tummy tuck about 6 months after the delivery as long as you have regained your pre-pregnancy health and body condition. 

I would recommend waiting for 6 months following your C-section
as you need time to recover from that surgery first.  This will also allow your body to return to its
pre-pregnancy state which will give you an optimal result.  Keep in mind, following your tummy tuck and
during your recovery, there will be lifting restrictions for a period of time
so you may want to have child care in place for your new baby.  Consult with a Board Certified Plastic
surgeon to discuss your options.

surgery 3-4 months after C-section so
long as you have achieved your pre-baby weight, are generally fit and healthy and
do not wish to have any further children.
