I usually have patients keep tape on the incisions for several weeks after surgery. Many can start topical care after that. I would check with your surgeon first.

Thanks for your question. You should start using scarAway strips after the scar is completely heal. This usually happens between the 15 th day. Some times the surround of the lips incision is damage or peal and it can take a litter bit longer to heal, please, check with your doctor before using and treatment for the scar. 

Always best to ask your operative surgeon any postop questions. OH I see you used a clinic! Well if you are at last 3 weeks postop than I think ok to use scar strips, but only in person second opinions could allow a definitive response
