Be careful with this procedure. It needs to be done with consideration of the eye function and natural results. You can see examples on following link. Usually requires more than just canthoplasty and may include elevation of the lower eyelids (lower eyelid retraction surgery).

Thank you for your question. This type of procedure is getting a lot of social media coverage and seems to be a trend now. My advice would be to not pursue any type of permanent cosmetic procedure to follow something that is trendy. Re-positioning the lateral canthus can be a complicated operation with potential complications and a permanent change to the eye shape and lid position. If in 5 years this trend is out of favor, you may not be able to get back to a natural appearance. I know there are some people out there doing temporary procedures with thread lifts so maybe that would be a more reasonable option for now. Hope this helps!Dallas R. Morning, a photo of you would be helpful.  What you are asking for would possibly be a combination of canthoplasty with canthopexy where the outer corners of the eyes are changed by raising a reattaching the canthal tendon to the lateral orbital bone.  However, to get the full effect (which is still usually a modest change) you may be looking at a lateral brow lift and anchoring technique of the lateral half or your existing crease.I perform all types of Asian eyelid surgery daily and I can tell you that even though changes can be made they are usually a bit subtle in younger patients if not all procedures are combined and even then the results are modest.  Despite that, patients under go the procedures often and they are typically happy with the results although results to vary.Chase Lay MDAsian eyelid surgery specialist
