Answer: General Anesthesia Great question! I do not see any strict contraindications for general anesthesia twice within one month. Generally a period of 1 to 2 weeks in between general anesthesia is a decent enough time period to restore full circulation in your body and prevent blood clot related issues. As always consult with your anesthesiologist regarding this. Regarding your keloid removal, depending on the size and location, local anesthesia and/or IV sedation may be an option. Please discuss this with your surgeon. Best of luck!

Answer: General anesthesia twice in a month. Is this dangerous? Hi. For me general anesthesia is too dangerous for being use in a Plastic Surgery procedure. All my procedures are performed applying IV sedation and after the patient is asleep giving her epidural anesthesia. Why you need 2 surgeries for things that can be done at once ?International Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)Member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS)Member of the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS)
