Fat transfer to shoulders? (Photo)

Question

Wondering if fat transfer is possible to the shoulders? I seem to have a very prominent shoulder bone that sticks out and makes my shoulders look square rather than round and makes me look a lot skinnier than I really am. I'm very self conscious and won't wear anything sleeveless because of this

Although not commonly described, fat transfer to this area can be performed to help improve the contour of your shoulder.  The only drawback may be hypertrophy of the scar associated with injecting the fat since this area traditionally does not scar well.

Injectable fat grafting can be done to the deltoids and around the acromion process of the shoulder to reduce the so called 'bony shoulder'. Because of the tightness of the skin around the top of the shoulder and the frequent motion around it,  a second session of fat grafting may be needed for optimal coverage.

I believe it is possible. I did fat grafting to a shoulder (under a skin graft after a car accident).The result has been stable for over 15 years.Hope this helps
