Fat graft to lips- swelling or too full? (photos)

Question

I did a fat graft 36 hours ago, and I feel they are overfilled. Even directly after the procedure I felt they were too large My questions are 1) is this swelling? How soon does swelling set in? How long will it last? 2) what's the 'take' rate of a fat graft? 3) what are my options? They feel so hard and stiff! Thanks!

Bella 12345  Thank you for the picture and question.  A complete examination is necessary to best address your concerns.  36 hours after any facial injection you can expect swelling and unevenness.  this will slowly dissipate over the course of the next two weeks. Depending upon your cosmetic surgeons' technique as well as other factors the fat will take from 0 - 100%; but realistically about 70 %.  Your options , speak with your doctor you trusted him to perform the procedure, you should trust his answers now.

You are still every swollen.  It will take a few weeks for the swelling to resolve.  Some asymmetry may exist in the meantime.  This is all normal.
