when does the fluffing stage begin? should I expect my butt to gain some volume? and is it okay to sit on my boppy pillow all day at work? my job requires sitting down for most of the day, what should I do?

Hello msvaldez04. In my opinion, what you see at 1 month after surgery is what you're likely to keep. However, the waistline will continue to shrink which can make the buttock looks slightly fuller over time. Some people have very tight skin and may require 2 months or so to fuller stretch. I also believe that you need at least 300 cc of fat transfer per buttock cheek to make a nice difference. Before and after photos might help doctors with helping you. You are still early in the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation, discomfort and irregularities are normal.
If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon.

By 6 weeks after your BBL procedure, you will not gain
additional volume in your butt. Unlike with breast augmentation, there is no
‘fluffing’ that occurs with Brazilian butt lifts. After your procedure,
swelling of the areas that you received liposuction will gradually subside over
the first 3 months. As your swelling decreases and your waist likely gets
smaller, your butt will appear larger by contrast. You may even lose a small
amount of volume in your butt after the procedure, as not all of the fat graft
may survive. As for your job, by 6 weeks there should be no problem with
sitting, although it’s a good idea to get up every hour to relieve pressure on
your buttocks.
