I had a tummy tuck and lipo on April 1 of this year and everything looks fine but Even tho I know I am only one months few days post op I see that big lump by my rib cage is still there and is big and noticeable is not going down I am thinking too see another surgeon to tell me what that is please help I am stressed about this is it gonna go away ?? How can I fix it ? How much more money?

Thank you for your question and series of photographs and I am sorry that your results have not been what you anticipated.  It is difficult without an in-person examination to determine what may be taking place.  Most commonly this is residual swelling from surgery which will spontaneously resolve but it would be important to voice your concerns to your surgeon to ensure that other issues are not taking place - discrete fluid collection, muscle laxity, or residual adipose tissue.

Best to seek in Miami local private practice boarded PSs to evaluate, refer for a scan (few $$$s). Than if excess  fat -  lipo the area or if seroma pocket re operate! Fees from $2,500 to $5,000. Or you can fly back to DR for care from your surgeon!

The "lump" could be a few different things. 1) fat that was not liposuctioned and therefore it now bulges out compared to the rest of your abdomen - treatment would be more lipo in the future 2) fat necrosis or edema - this can be improved drastically or even completely fixed with aggressive massaging - professional lymphatic massages or endermologie  3) seroma/hematoma - this can be drained by your PS.  It is important to have follow up with your PS.

It is difficult to tell for sure from a photo what is going on, but it appears as though there is a small collection of adiposity (fatty tissue) in that area that would likely be able to be fixed with liposuction.

It's difficult to tell without being able to examine your or see your photos from before surgery.  It could be swelling, a fluid collection, residual fat, loose skin, asymmetrical bone or muscle structure, or even a hernia.  Have you asked your surgeon about it?  Before going to another surgeon, it's usually best to ask your original surgeon about it and give him/her a chance to fix it.
