I have always had to deal with Herpes on my lips. The last two months I have not had a single day without it and now it Is starting to grow on my upper lip too. Do lip fillers kind of help against herpes? I am really frustrated.

Answer: Botox or lip fillers against herpes on my lips? Is this an option? Any injection could initiate a herpetic outbreak. Best to start a course of anti herpes medication 5 days prior to injections.

However, they will not help against a herpes outbreak, they can actually trigger an outbreak. The only treatment for herpes is medication like Valtrex. Unfortunately herpes can only be managed as it is a lifetime diagnosis. I recommend you follow up with your doctor for treatment. Best of Luck!
