I think its too soon to determine whether or note you will need additional Botox to smooth out the upper and lower forehead lines. Additional photos would be beneficial after 10 days post treatment including visualization of your eyes and brow position both at rest and with animation. In addition, frowning photos would be needed. There are potential pitfalls and errrors made by novice injectors.1. Too much Botox injected in a small area vs. small amounts spread out. This can cause the brows to drop and create eye lid heaviness. Injecting too little on the sides can cause the Spock look with over arched brows. Too much on the sides will cause them to drop. Its a fine balancing act. 2. Failure to inject the brow depressor muscles causing the 11 lines. From your photos, I suspect the lower forehead lines were caused by a failure to inject the procerus and corrugator muscles as some of the Botox often diffuses upward smoothing out the lower forhead lines. Without a frown photo this cant be determined. 3. Failure to use combinate therapy. Most patients with etched in static lines will also require HA filler injections. This is a higher risk area and can cause skin necrosis and should therefore be only performed by a highly skilled and experienced injector. Please resend photos after 10 days
The really question that needs to be addressed is why are you activation the forehead muscle so much. Botox treatment should not be about freezing the forehead. Study my Microdroplet Lift video attached below. If describes how to make a treatment work with the facial muscles to get a fabulous result.
Hello Check!Your lines are going away and it's only been 4 days. The full effect will occur at two weeks and you should follow up with your injector at this point. It's possible not all your lines will go away, but you can have a touch up with your injector.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO :)
Although you are starting to see some results from your Botox, I recommend that patients wait a full 7-10 days to know what their complete result will be. If it a patient's first time getting Botox, I usually inject a smaller amount to see if I can achieve an ideal result. If they need more, I'd much rather them come back and get the natural look they desire, as opplsed to giving more product and having a result that is too dramatic or that they are unhappy with. Give the product a few more days, and if you still are not satisfied with the results, you may need to see your physician for further injections to get a more complete response.
In most patients, it takes about two weeks for full effects to take place. I would recommend waiting two weeks, and if the results are still uneven, to contact your injector for further evaluation. You may require a touch-up session for desired results. Hope this helps! In good health, Dr. Andre Berger
Thank you for your question. It is too early to determine what your final results will be. Botox starts to take full effect after two weeks. It is normal to have some irregularity at 4 days. At two weeks your injector will assess your results and determine if a touch up of Botox is needed. Best of Luck!
I would wait 14 days before evaluating your Botox results. If at that point you are unhappy with your results, I would followup with your injector to determine what else can be done. At 4 days out, this looks normal. Hang in there!
Thank you for your question, and for submitting photos. It can take up to 10-14 days to see the full effects of Botox. Sometimes, the results can appear uneven during the first few days after treatment, while the Botox is still kicking in. I would recommend waiting a full 2 weeks, and then following up with your injector to see if you need any additional, touch-up treatments. Best of luck!
Thank you for your question. It is critical that you give the Botox a full 2 weeks to kick in. It is normal for your injector to add a little more at this time, especially if it is the first time they are injecting you.
Botox is a fabulous injection and the most popular injection in the country. It takes two weeks to see the full effects and often there is some irregularity after only 4 days. I would wait the two weeks and I have all of my Botox patients return in two weeks to assess the full effect to see if you need more Botox. Please consult an expert in Botox to have the best cosmetic results. Best, Dr. Green
Thank you for your question. It should be okay to have Botox injected a week before your surgery. However, I would wait to have Juvederm injected until after your surgery as pressure over the injected area(s) can still be molded and displacement can happen. I recommend discussing this with your...
Hello,I understand your concern, however if it was only a brief rub I am sure there isn't too much for you to be concerned about. It is more, if there is intense massaging of the area - which could raise concern. However, if you feel there is anything to be concerned about, please organise a...
Thank you for your question. From you photo it does appear that you have some enlargement of your masseter muscles. Approximately 15-20 units of Botox in each side will help slim your jawline. This should also help with your jaw clenching and teeth grinding. I recommend having a consultation...
