Hello Doctor: I want to have a beard transplant, but my donor area is limited, because I have already used it in a previous hair transplant, therefore I do not have hair to donate from my head to my beard. I want to know if I can take hair from my armpits to fill my beard. I have noticed that the hair of my armpits like the pubic have the same texture of my beard.

My preference is the use of beard, followed by chest and or back hairs, where I have harvested as many as 3500 grafts over two days. These are definitely sophisticated challenging cases, but these hairs can be used not just for the scalp but also for the beard.
