I bruised and blistered immediately after the treatment. The blisters are getting bigger. How do I treat this?
Answer: Coolsculpting bruising can happen but blisters are not common. Recommend going back and discussing that with the provider that did the coolsculpting for you. Gel used during coolsculpting is supposed to prevent the blistering. In our busy practice we have never seen blistering.

Answer: Blistering after CoolSculpting® isn't a typical reaction. While some redness or tenderness at the treatment site can occur and would be normal, blistering to the extent you describe is not typical. I suggest following up with your provider to see if they can provide any insight on why this could have happened, as well as see what they recommend for your next steps. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Blistering after coolsculpting No, blistering is not typical after a coolsculpt treatment. As a provider, we would want to hear from you if you are having any issues at all post treatment, and I'm sure your provider will feel the same way so do not hesitate. I wish you all the best.

Answer: Blistering After Coolsculpting I am sorry you have had this experience. We have performed many coolsculpting treatments and have never seen blistering afterwards. I would recommended returning to the provider who performed your treatment for further evaluation.

Answer: Blistering after treatment Blistering after Coolsculpting is not typical but can happen if there is a thermal event. One of the amazing things about Coolsculpting is that the applicators have built in sensors that check your skin throughout treatment to ensure the tissue in the treatment area is not getting too cold. If the tissue does get too cold the system will shut down and turn off to prevent "freezer burn" on the skin. Although this rarely occurs, blisters that can result in this situation will typically heal within several days and will not have any lasting side effects. That being said, it is very important to wait until the tissue is completely healed before re-treating the area.
