When I turned 50, I decided it was time to treat myself to the breasts I'd always wanted. After carrying and breastfeeding two children and achieving significant, long-lasting weight loss, I deserved it! I couldn't have chosen better in terms of Dr. Hazen and her excellent staff. Every encounter, from the consult to the scheduling to the surgery to post-care, made me feel very well taken care of. And the results! I couldn't be happier. My breasts are beautifully shaped, comfortable to carry, and very natural. I'm wearing necklines I wouldn't have dreamed of before. I highly recommend Dr. Hazen and will 100% go back for any future procedures I decide to do.
I needed to have a hysterectomy and when my OBGYN saw the scar and muscle damage I had from my C-section he recommend Dr. Hazen to come in and do a revision after the hysterectomy was complete. I was very unsure about it since I was willing to live with my disfigurement and never considered a tummy tuck before. Dr. Hazen and her staff made me feel very comfortable and validated that I should not have to live like this. They were kind and patient and explained everything to me no matter how many time I asked the same questions. I am about 2 months post-op now and am so happy that I decided to go through with this. It had changed my relationship to my body and self confidence and I truly feel restored again. I would highly recommend Dr. Hazen to anyone considering this procedure. I am extremely pleased with the results.
Dr. Hazen and her entire staff have been amazing! I was well prepared for what to expect for the surgery, and the follow up care has been excellent. Dr. Hazen is a remarkable surgeon, and she and her staff have been extremely caring throughout the process.
I had my treatment at Dr. Hazen’s medical spa in Princeton. The practice is simply beautiful! I felt so welcomed by the staff. I was recommended to do SculpSure. I got to meet dr. Hazen herself. She took the time to say hello and ask how I was doing. Regina, Meghan, and Jody are amazing! I treated my back bra and love handles. It was easier than I expected. I didn’t have any prep before and I was able to drive home afterwards. It felt like a menstrual cramp at random moments but other than that, it was easy and sooo worth it! I’m excited to treat the area again to get more of a reduction! Thanks again Hazen Medical Spa for your hospitality and taking care of me and my stubborn fat!!! Stay tuned for results and after pictures.
I have always had uneven breasts. My left side spilled out of my bras while my right side couldn't fill out a cup. After getting a professional bra fitting where I found out that I had about a five cup size difference, I decided to take action. After more than 10 years of feeling uncomfortable, fighting back and neck pain, and spilling out of my bras, I started researching reductions. Dr. Hazen was the first and only consult I went to. I felt so comfortable with her , her expertise and her amazing staff, that I didn't feel the need to "shop around". My first contact with her office was with Carol, who is one of the sweetest human beings I've ever met. She explained the process and booked me an evening consultation. When I came in with my boyfriend, I was offered tea and shown examples of other breast reductions done by Dr. Hazen. I was very impressed with her work - she also had a couple of examples showing correction of asymmetry. When I met with Dr. Hazen, she talked with me for a while and then suggested that I only reduce one breast. She pointed out that my larger breast was well-suited to my frame (I'm tall and have wide hips and shoulders). She also pointed out that it would put my body through less surgery. I was so impressed that a surgeon would actually recommend less work! After thinking about it for a couple of days, I decided that a unilateral reduction was the right choice for me. I was lucky enough to be able to do this surgery under my health insurance, and Carol helped me every step along the way in the approval process. Dr. Hazen was so kind and so knowledgeable that I can honestly say I was never worried about the surgery. She gave me very detailed pre-op instructions and has seen me at least four times to follow up post-surgery. All in all, she removed a little over 600 grams from my left breast. Pre-op, I was wearing a 34HH (spilling out of one side, padding the other). After surgery I am wearing a DDD. I love my result and am thrilled with the shape, size, and appearance. Dr. Hazen is not just an excellent surgeon, she is an artist!
Dr Hazen is a wonderful physician and takes the time to listen to her patients concerns. I was very nervous about the procedure however Dr Hazen was very patient and provided adequate pain management which resulted in a positive experience with Ultherapy. Great physician, great staff and excellent service from this provider.
I am 52 - yet when I rebuffed a 36 yo male at a function with a "I'm too old for you" he countered: "so you're what: 38, 39? That's not too old..." Ha! Thanks Dr. Hazen and Ultherapy! Funny story aside, the experience is posh and pleasant, with the staff surrounding you at all times to make sure all your needs are met. 9 years ago I also had an upper blepharoplasty to correct my hooded eyes and now I'm considering a lower blepharoplasty too (to keep people guessing whether I'm 38 OR 39 :)
My daughter is getting married in September. I didn't want to be the fat mother if the bride. Lost weight and still had the tummy. Considered cool sculpting but I was told I had too much skin and it would be a waste of money. 10" of skin was removed. I don't think I ever had a flat stomach in my life. I cannot be happier with my results. Pain was not bad. Told how to manage the pain before I got to a 10. It was so much better than I imagined
My parents say I came downstairs one day and I had grown breasts overnight. I went from training bras to a D cup in a short span of time and suffered through teasing from kids at school because I was the first one with boobs, which were also the biggest. They continued to grow as I got older and when I got to college I was a DDD. People asked for years whether I was going to get a breast reduction but I always said they didn't really bother me- which they didn't. I had gotten used to them and they didn't feel that big. I was a bit pudgier in my belly but I was an athlete in high school and enjoyed working out; sure they bounced around but I just assumed it was the way I was built. I'm now a senior in college and before entering my senior year I thought about who I wanted to be after I left college. I realized the one thing holding me back from being totally confident with myself and my body were my breasts. I realized I actually wasn't pudgy, but my boobs sat on the top of my abdomen. I realized I didn't have bad posture, my boobs weighed me down. I made the decision to go through with the breast reduction surgery prior to graduating. I wanted people to look me in the eye, not at my boobs. I wanted a simple V neck to be comfy, not a cleavage-bearing item. I had my surgery on January 5, 2016. I went from a G to a C and just two weeks later, I feel like a new person. It's like 100 pounds have been lifted off my shoulders and back. I'm sitting up straighter, I'm more confident, I'm so happy. I did this for myself and it was the best decision I've ever made. Please ask me any questions you may have. This site was a huge help to me for months before I had my surgery and got rid of many of my fears. I'm absolutely willing to help.
My daughter is getting married in the fall, and I started researching things I could do for a tightening of the neck area. I thought that the only option was going to be plastic surgery, which i was to afraid to do, when i stumbled onto ultherapy. I like that it was FDA approved, and I had my sister, who is a nurse, go with me to 2 doctors to interview them. I chose Dr. Hazen in Princeton, even though it was a hike for me. I liked her board certification and the fact that she did the procedure. It was not as painful as I expected. There were 2 areas that hurt, in the apple of my checks, and jawline, but it is so quick, like a millisecond, and its over, and even that pain was not severe. The next day I woke up sore and numb, not horrible, but i noticed it, and I could feel where the injection sites for the pain killer were. I noticed 2 small bruises on my neck and jawline 3 days post procedure, but easily covered with makeup. Mostly my face kind of feels like its been to the gym. You know that feeling when you work a body part and the next day its kind of tight there, that is the feeling with my face. The doctor took a ton of photos, but they are not on my portal page, i will see if she will post them there, so i can share them on here. Updated on 2 Jun 2015: Soreness and numbness was gone this weekend (about 10 days after procedure). I notice my jawline looks firmer, but it could be all in my head. I am waiting on the dr. photos to compare with before photos.
Thank you for your question. Sculpsure and Exilis Ultra are both great treatments and can be paired together. Sculpsure will reduce most of the fat while Exilis Ultra can tighten the skin as well as reduce some fat. Although they can be combined in the same treatment plan we do not recommend doing them together in the same day. We would wait at least 24 hours in between modalities if treating the same area. We usually recommend a series of 6 Exilis Ultra treatments every 7-14 days and Sculpsure we recommend a series of 2 treatments 6 weeks apart.
Thank you for your question. We have found Microneedling to be helpful for reducing the appearance of stretch marks, but sometimes the combination of treatments such as with IPL/BBL is also effective especially if the stretch marks have pigment. We do not recommend using an at home device since you will be at greater risk for infection. The roller can also be painful and not as effective in penetrating the skin. Cost will also vary depending on your location, the size of the area you would like treated, along with what type of Microneedling treatment is completed (PRP, Growth Factors). Good Luck!
Thank you for your question. Results do vary person to person, and although Sculpsure is not a weight loss solution, it does provide up to 24% fat reduction. You can also lose inches to the treated areas. I recommended returning for your follow up to review before and after photos with your provider. In our practice we monitor weight, measurements, and have patients follow up at 3 months and 6 months post procedure. Our Sculpsure treatment plan is also broken down in 2 treatments 6 weeks apart. Some patients may need more treatments depending on the desired results.
Thank you for your question. Coolsculpting on the buttocks is not encouraged, however areas around the buttocks such as the "banana roll" which is the area under the buttocks or outer thighs can be treated with Coolsculpting. The best thing to do is to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options and the results you are seeking. Sometimes a combination of other non surgical modalities may be best to obtain the desired results you are seeking. Best of Luck!
Thank your for your question. Coolsculpting only targets subcutaneous fat which rests above the muscle. Therefore the muscle is not affected during the treatment. I suggest returning for your follow up and discussing your concerns with your Coolsculpting provider.
