Which is better for flanks on a 50 year old woman that is in shape, i have love handles when I wear jeans and I would like to try venus freeze or cool sculpting. Which would work better and what is the price range in michigan.
Answer: Coolsculpting versus Venus Freeze--Add Radiofrequency, Thermage, Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra, VASER, ThermiRF Coolsculpting is good for removing stubborn areas of fat to areas like the flanks, but a combination approach is needed to get the most improvement. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. VASER with ThermiRF is a great alternative. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Is CoolSculpting the Best Option? Thanks for your question. CoolSculpting is universally accepted as the most effective and safe fat removal treatment available. CoolSculpting is the first ever FDA cleared non-surgical and non-invasive treatment for the permanent removal of fat cells. CoolSculpting has been time tested for over a decade and has been refined and improved all along the way. Having successfully treated tens of thousands of patients with CoolSculpting, we know first hand that it really works. The results on the flanks are truly impressive. Keep in mind that most patients will need 2 treatment to achieve optimal results, as each treatment removes 20-25% of the fat cells in the treated area. Be sure to have an in person consultation to be sure that you are a candidate for CoolSculpting. And, be sure that you are working with a reputable practice that has plenty of experience and specializes in CoolSculpting. Good luck with your journey!

Answer: Coolsculpting vs Venus Freeze Coolsculpting is the gold standard and has a great track record. We have done over 4000 treatments and had great results. In choosing a treating physician look for someone with lots of experience. Ask how many they have done. Look at their personal before and after photos. And get someone with the new treatment heads. They are quicker, have a larger chilling area, and are more comfortable. Be sure they have at least 2 machines (we have 3). Cost is usually in the $1100-1500 range depending on location. Best Wishes, Maurice Vick MD

Answer: CoolSculpting vs Venus Freeze In my opinion, CoolSculpting is much better for all areas, especially the flanks. It is the well-agreed upon gold standard for localized fat reduction. It has worked very well in my practice (and I have experience with many different devices) and patients have been very happy. I would definitely recommend that you make sure the practice you choose is very experienced (this procedure is not just about attaching it to the body and walking away) and that they have the newest version of the device with the CoolAdvantage "cup" applicators as they have proven to be better, safer, and cause minimal discomfort as opposed to the older "parallel plate" technology. Good luck and hope this answer helps!

Answer: Treating flank fat Coolscupting is the time tested standard in non-surgical fat reduction. It's great for the flanks as well as numerous other regions of the body. With the new CoolAdvantage applicator, we have the ability to treat a larger surface area in a very short amount of time. Your best bet is to see a certified Coolsculpting provider so that all options can be reviewed.
