Aqua lipo vs smart lipo?

Question

Ive had traditional lipo on my abdomen but have noticed some fat was left on my upper abdomen closer to my rib area that was not taken out enough causing it to protrude slightly. Is aqua lipo more effective than smart lipo for a small area like mine?

Removing a small amount of fat can be accomplished effectively with standard tumescent lipo, smart lipo or water assisted lipo. The important aspect is identifying the excess fat and removing it thoroughly, not the choice of technology.

I think that both approaches would be effective as long as the surgeon has the skill and experience to achieve the results that you want.  Make sure you are clear with your goals and that the surgeon agrees with you.  He or she should be able to explain if your request is reasonable or not.  Good doctors say "no" once in a while, too! Does not matter the type of lipo to correct minor areas of residual fat. I prefer SmartLipo Triplex. Might also consider sessions of KyBella injections (off label) but longer term results time like 3 months and just as expensive as lipo touch up.

There are many variations of liposuction that are highly effective. What's more important is the doctor and his or her comfort level with the various techniques. A humble suggestion would be to choose your doctor properly rather than the technique they use. Good luck with it.
