I am a mom in my late thirties and developed some bulging veins after the baby . It was not only bothering me how bad it looked ( living in sunny Florida) but it cause me great deal of pain. My legs felt tired and achy most of the times. After some research , I visited Dr Chang and he made me feel very comfortable to going forward with EVLT The procedure lasted approximately an hour and it was not painful at all for my surprise ! Dr Chang was very kind and patient throughout the process. I was back at work on the next day and get really exited when I saw the results ! I did went back for a sclerotherapy and got the best results ! Now finally wearing shorts again and have no tiredness in my legs, I feel so much better ! I would highly recommend Dr Chang , as I am very happy with the final outcome!
I've been contemplating getting liposuction or smartlipo for quite sometime on my inner thighs. I am a gym rat and no matter what I do my inner thigh fat would not go away. After a lot of research (and some convincing by my friends) I decided to give myself a Christmas gift and get Liposuction with Dr. John Chang. It was really one of the best decisions I made in 2014. Not only am I extremely happy with the results but it's changed my gym routine to focus on other areas and gave me the confidence to wear bikinis without thinking about my thighs touching each other. Thank you Dr. Chang!
Dr Chang is an amazing Doctor. His bedside manner and knows how to make you feel so comfortable is impeccable. He did botox and fillers in my face and made me look 10 years younger without any bruising. He pricing is the best around!! His entire office and staff are extremely knowledgeable as well. It was a great experience.
It was a wonderful experience. I look and feel great. It was everything I hoped for. Had liposuction on abs area with no complications back in January. It's been several months now and I still look and feel great... Especially in Miami where everyone wears bikinis year round. I'm also considering chin lipo and Botox.
Dr. Chang is an exceptional surgeon. I had Smart Lipo done on my abdomen and love handles. I would definitely recommend him to anyone interested in a similar procedure. Dr. Chang took the time to explain every step of the procedure to me so I understood what to expect. There was a bit of pain here and there but it was exactly what Dr. Chang told me to expect. I am planning to go back to have another procedure done in the near future because I was very impressed with his work!
I was skeptical about having my face injected for vanity but after Dr Chang explained how easy the procedure would be with continued results I took the chance and I'm so happy I did. My face looks fully relaxed and rested. It looks like I had a mini facelift. Lines were smoothed away and it took away years of worry lines off my face. All from a few injections and a skilled surgeons hands. You don't have to have major surgery to look years younger. Thanks Dr Chang!
I went to Dr. Chang at Soluna MD because I had been considering liposuction for my abdomen area for a long time. After my consultation I felt I had found the place where I felt comfortable having this type of procedure done. It took a few months to see the final results but I am happy with the results and would highly recommend Dr. Chang.
I had liposuction done on my love handles and stomach. For starters, the care and attention was well above average. The staff and doctor have wonderful bedside manners. The results were exuberant. I would not go anywhere else to get my face and body updated. Dr. Chang is the best for me and I place myself in his hands with total confidence.
I researched long and hard to find a surgeon for my breast lift and augmentation. When I saw how consistent Dr.Chang's results were I booked a free consult. I was so impressed that I took the leap of faith and booked my appt. Long story short my results are flawless and I thank dr. Chang and his amazing staff.
I had read so many reviews and heard of people hurting during the procedure that I went in super nervous. I just had it done today so I wouldn't be able to let you know if it was totally worth it but I could tell you I really don't have much pain today even though my doctor told me I will feel the pain tomorrow. So my doctor informed me of every step he was going to do and answered every question I had. He began my taking pictures, followed by marking the areas. One question I had because I noticed was " wil you be doing my bra line "?. He said yes I'll go in a little cause you don't have much. He walked out and the nurse walked in, one again I rectified will he be doing my bra line and she said no cause they are only able to do 2 parts at a time. I informed her if she could ask him because money maws not an issue and I wou like to get it done all at once. She walked out to ask him and once again he said I would do it cause I have every little.nthe doctor came back in and I said goodbye to my wonderful hubby who has supported me all the way, even though he said I looked wonderful. I thank God for the wonderful support I have received from my hubby and amazing boss. So the doctor started by inserting the anesthesia mix, I have to admit it hurt at times but it was tolerable. During that procedure at times you feel a pinch especially in the rib area but I took it like a solder. Hey after four pregnancys anything is better. He followed by melting the fat, once again he informed me of his next step. I was wide up wake the hole time. Funny cause the nurse had given me a Vicodin and Xanax before we started and mid way a second Xanax. Once we were done she told me I can believe you never knotted out. As he was melting the fat we spoke the whole time and he's any questions I had he answered. After the melting of the fat ca,e the fun part. The removal of the fat. Believe it or not but it is incredible what we humans have inside our bodies. The fat was disgusting he took out 3 and a half liters,to what he told me 4 is the legal amount, I was little surprised since I really didn't thank I needed that much out. When the doctor was taking out the fat he would do one part and go back to the previous part, in other words he would go back and forth I guess to make sure he was contouring right. When he was done he wished me luck in my recovery and told me to have a nice lunch. After the nurse started to clean me up and put the maxi pads on the incisions (maxi pads are very absorbent). And helped me put on my compression garment, I thought nthe compression garment was going to hurt or feel uncomfortable but to my surprise I it helped out a lot. My doctor told me to wear it 24/7 for the first month and half a day after that. I asked him if Once the 24/7 compression past could I wear a nice tight garment from Walmart or specialty store, he said what ever is comfortable for you and to keep in mind the longer you wear it the before the recover and results. So after the nurse was done she let my wonderful hubby in to take me. The doctor requested a post-op in a week. One thing else he told me to wait 2 weeks to start the lymph massages because it will hurt, but I am starting next week. 5 days the first week and 2 to 3 after for the first six weeks. I want to be able to enjoy my new body and do not what any bumps developing. Updated on 13 Nov 2014: Feeling good just feel uncomfortable sore. Not taking prescribed meds just taking Tylenol straight strength and antibiotics. In the morning when I woke I felt like a train had ran me over, took some Tylenol and felt better. Had oatmeal with a banana for breakfast and I had arranged a healthy food delivery set up.my cousin came over and help me a lot by helping me get the garment on and cleaning the incisions. Finally was able to shower felt like I had showed in days. My pelvic area is really swollen. I don't see much difference but my wonderful hubby does (he loves to make me feel good) will keep updating every so often. Updated on 20 Nov 2014: Hello fellow real self friends...please be honest, do you see what I see? Or is it my imagination? I almost started to cry, could my quest for improvement failed? Could I have let vanity take the best of me.... Crying????????????
When dealing with the arms, it is important to consider the skin in addition to the fat. Coolsculpting does not cause any tightening of the skin (and I have yet to run into any patients happy with their Coolsculpting results). I perform the SmartLipo Ultra procedure all the time for arms and I always try to give proper, realistic expectations when it comes to the skin. My goal is to make the arms skinnier by melting out the fat and to really work on the dermis to get as much skin tightening as I can. If your skin is quite lax, the idea is to significantly improve the shape of the arm and try to reduce the amount of "sag". My patients expect improvement, not perfection. Hope this helps and good luck!Dr Chang
I think that both approaches would be effective as long as the surgeon has the skill and experience to achieve the results that you want. Make sure you are clear with your goals and that the surgeon agrees with you. He or she should be able to explain if your request is reasonable or not. Good doctors say "no" once in a while, too! Hope this helps and good luck!Dr Chang
This is a common question. I always say that it is not the machine but the hands using it. You can see a wide spectrum of results from amazing to disappointing based upon the doctor's experience, skill and goals. Some doctors unfortunately do not care about getting significant results. Others do not spend enough time removing the fat. Others just do not have the experience with the machine. This situation applies across all fields of medicine, not just lipo surgery. And of course, every patient is different in terms of amount of body fat, genetics and healing abilities. Hope this helps and good luck!Dr Chang
As much as I love the Smart Lipo procedure, you should not do this procedure before a tummy tuck in your situation. If you are going to do a major procedure like a tummy tuck, there really is no need to undergo two separate procedures. The excess skin is also a huge factor. Definitely continue to do a great job of losing the weight. Now, if you decide against a tummy tuck for whatever reason (long recovery, major operation, large incision, cost, etc), then Smart Lipo is fine as a less-invasive way of debulking the fat. Hope this helps and good luck!Dr Chang
Based on your pictures and story, you would definitely benefit from a Smart Lipo procedure if done correctly. You have belly fat and love handle fat that could be effectively removed to really help your shape and contour. Honestly, the concerns you wrote about are more directed at the specific doctor rather than the tools utilized because the goal is always to get the fat out! I have seen the same complaints about doctors who perform traditional liposuction, too. I like to be aggressive in a safe and controlled environment. Finally, the fat does not move around per se, but rather, other fatty areas accumulate the fat you gain over time. Hope this helps and good luck!Dr Chang
