A crease in the skin could be caused by in ill fitting compressive garment or redundant skin that is folded upon itself. Best to show this to your surgeon.
this could be due to the garment or bad technque. I suggest posting photos or seeing a revision specialist. Best, Dr. Emer.
Well, there are a lot of factors that can cause creases. The biggest concerns timing after your surgery. Creases appearing shortly after surgery very often disappear as swelling subsides. Compressive garments worn after surgery are certainly helpful in reducing swelling more quickly but because the fabric can be thick and rather coarse then creases could form on the skin. As swelling subsides generally such creases disappear.
Hello dear, thanks for your question and provided information as well. I suggest you to be patient, folds are common after surgery, because of the swelling that can stay about 2 months
Temporary folds/creases are common because of the early swelling than persists for weeks/months. Not wearing binders/waistbands/etc in the same place all day help to even these out. In the long term fibrosis and/or uneven fat removal can contribute to permanent creases. There is not enough information included by you to specifically refer to your situation.
