Is the bump on my nose any sign of deformity? (Photo)

I am on my 8 month right now of closed rhinoplasty and this bump appeared at the 4th month. It's not hard and feels like cartilage. My doctor said that it's okay and won't go away but i am feeling like I'm being lied to.
